Natural

The natural surface of polyamide has a sandy, granular look, and is slightly porous.

Dyeing

To color polyamide, we submerge your model into a bath containing color pigment. This dyeing process is also referred to as pigmentation or impregnating.

This finish is available in Yellow, Orange, Red, Bordeaux, Green, Blue, Petrol Blue, Purple, Brown and Black.

As with most post-production processes, extra labor is required and this will add 1 working day to the lead time.

The color of dyed polyamide models may vary slightly.

Satinée

The satin finish is achieved with a blasting process, giving the surface of your model a uniform color and satin smooth look.

This finish is available in Yellow, Orange, Red, Bordeaux, Green, Blue, Petrol Blue, Purple, Brown and Black.

As with most post-production processes, extra labor is required and this will add 2 working days to the lead time.

Polishing

It’s possible to polish and dye your 3D-printed model to create smooth and colored objects. Polishing and dyeing is a finishing technique that combines two consecutive steps, namely polishing and then dyeing. To polish models, we use a mechanical smoothing process. Your model is put into a tumbler with pebbles that smooth your model while the tumbler vibrates at a high frequency. To color models, we use a dyeing process where your model is submerged into a bath containing color pigment. Colors will appear lighter than regular dyed models.

This finish is available in Yellow, Orange, Red, Bordeaux, Green, Blue, Petrol Blue, Purple, Brown, Black and White.

As with most post-production processes, extra labor is required and this will add 2 working days to the lead time.

Spray Painting

We can spray paint your 3D-printed model in black or white.

As with most post-production processes, extra labor is required and will add 1 working day to the standard lead time.

Waterproof

For the sealing of your design, we process your polyamide part with an aqueous solution to fill small pores and close its outer surface or skin. Depending on the design, it is applied manually or by dipping the part.

This finish is only available in white.
